Visual Identity, Social Media, and Website Design
Logo/logotype design, brand identity, social media content creation, copywriting & strategy, print design, and website design for San Francisco-based women's clothing company humble co. The designer is of South Asian descent, and wanted her heritage to be reflected in a subtle way in the company's identity. We decided to use the iconic Indian symbols of the elephant and the lotus flower, but in a contemporary context that doesn't connote a yoga or wellness company. She is very inspired by 90's youth culture and streetwear style, and the color palette was created with those influences in mind. I designed the logo based on the literal meaning of the brand name, and the idea of giving and receiving help; part of the mission statement of the company includes an emphasis on mental health as a result of the founder's personal experiences.
